1 (Anime Series) Honey and Clover - Season 1 and 2 (Complete)

Honey and Clover (ハチミツとクローバー Hachimitsu to Kurōbā?) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Chika Umino. It is also known as HachiKuro (ハチクロ ?) and H&C. It is published by Shueisha, initially serialized from June 2000 to July 2006 in the magazines CUTiEcomic, Young YOU, and Chorus, and collected in ten bound volumes. The series depicts the lives and relationships of a group of art school students who live in the same apartment building. In 2003, the manga won the 27th Kodansha Manga Award for shōjo.

The series was adapted as an animated television series by J.C.Staff, initially broadcast on Fuji TV in two seasons from April to September 2005 and June to September 2006. The series was also adapted as a live action movie, which was released in theaters in Japan on July 22, 2006, and two separate live-action television dramas in 2008, one broadcast in Japan on Fuji TV from January 8, 2008 to March 18, 2008 and the other broadcast in Taiwan on CTS beginning on May 25, 2008.

Plot

Yūta Takemoto, Takumi Mayama and Shinobu Morita are three young men who live in the same apartment complex and are students at an art college in Tokyo.

One day, one of the art professors, Shūji Hanamoto, introduces his cousin's daughter, Hagumi Hanamoto, who has come to live with him and is a first year at the art school. Upon introduction, Takemoto and Morita fall in love with her. Morita expresses his love for Hagu in ways that scare her, especially calling Hagu 'mousey' and constantly photographing her, while Takemoto hides his feelings and tries to be a friend to Hagu. Hagu herself, though initially timid and afraid of company, gradually warms up to the three.

The group also includes another female: Ayumi Yamada. She is a master of pottery, and is well known by her name "Tetsujin" (Iron Lady). When not at school or hanging out with friends from the college, she helps run the family liquor store. She is very popular with all the guys, whether they are from the shopping district the liquor store is in or the other male pottery students, but Mayama is the only man she is in love with.

Unfortunately, although Mayama considers Yamada a friend, he does not return Yamada's love and is busy chasing an older woman, Rika Harada. Rika runs an architecture studio which she used to run with her husband, Harada before he died in a car accident which also left Rika disabled. Rika Harada and Shūji were very close friends and roommates in college. Mayama is sent by Shūji to help Rika, who has a hard time taking care of herself and running her business.

The story follows these five characters in their love triangles, unrequited love, graduating from college, finding jobs, and learning more about themselves.

0 (Movie) Paprika (2006) (Eng)

Paprika (パプリカ Papurika?) is a Japanese animated science fiction film, based on Yasutaka Tsutsui's 1993 novel of the same name, about a research psychologist who uses a device that permits therapists to help patients by entering their dreams.

The film was directed by Satoshi Kon, animated by Madhouse Studios, and produced and distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment. The film's music was composed by Susumu Hirasawa, who also composed the soundtrack for Kon's award-winning film, Millennium Actress, and equally lauded television series, Paranoia Agent.

Plot

In the near future, a revolutionary new psychotherapy treatment called dream therapy has been invented. A device called the "DC Mini" allows the user to view people's dreams, exploring their unconscious thoughts. The head of the team working on this treatment, Dr. Atsuko Chiba, begins using the machine to help psychiatric patients outside the research facility, using her alter-ego "Paprika", a persona she seems to assume in the dream world. The movie opens with Paprika counseling Detective Toshimi Konakawa, who is victimized by a recurring dream depicting himself in various cinema scenes, ending with a murderer escaping from a homicide.

As the government had not yet approved usage of the device, Chiba's actions are technically illegal and thus are kept a secret between herself and two colleagues: Dr. Kōsaku Tokita, a morbidly obese child-at-heart genius and the inventor of the DC Mini, and Dr. Toratarō Shima, the friendly and cheerful chief of staff. Three of the prototypes for the DC Mini are stolen and the Chairman of the company leads a meeting with the trio to discuss the ramifications and his severe doubts on the ethical nature of the DC Mini. Without warning, Dr. Shima suddenly goes on a nonsensical tirade and throws himself through a window, nearly killing himself.

Shima's psyche is examined and it is discovered that his thoughts had been invaded by someone else's dream: a lively parade of inanimate objects, instrument-playing animals, and various cultural icons. The visiage of Kei Himuro, Dr. Tokita's assistant, appears amongst the images of the "dream parade". It is suspected that he had used a stolen DC Mini to psychically assault Shima. Tokita and Chiba, along with another colleague, Dr. Morio Osanai, investigate Himuro's abandoned apartment. There, Chiba's mind is invaded by delusions of pursuing a Japanese doll through an amusement park; she nearly throws herself off a balcony as a result and is rescued at the last moment by Osanai. Back at the research facility, two other scientists fall victim to the dream parade. The Chairman cites the incidents as reason enough to ban the use of the device completely.

Chiba deduces that the amusement park from her previous delusions is a real location Tokita and Himuro used to relate about. Tokita and Chiba visit the park only to encounter Himuro, a DC Mini embedded into his skull, throwing himself off a Ferris wheel. Himuro survives the ordeal but is left in a vegetative state; he is ultimately held responsible for the dream parade incidents. Chiba however believes Himuro himself to have been a victim, chiding Tokita when he shows apathy to the situation. Tokita responds by using the DC Mini to access Himuro's psyche to find out for himself, and becomes the latest victim of the dream parade, which in turn starts to actively invade the dreams of others as Paprika and Dt. Konakawa discover.

Paprika and Shima explore Himuro's psyche using the DC Mini and find that it's literally been reduced to an empty shell. Tracing the "roots" that controlled him, Paprika confronts the Chairman himself, who claims that he is in fact the "protector of the dreamworld", guarding this last haven against the inhumane horrors of reality and technology. He is aided by Osanai, who agreed to give the Chairman his body and become the Chairman's lackey as long as he retains equal powers over his own dreams. Paprika is eventually captured by the pair after an exhausting chase.

Paprika wakes as a butterfly pinned to a table in a room surrounded by pinned butterflies. There, Osanai admits his love for Chiba, and literally peels away Paprika's skin to reveal Chiba underneath. However, he is interrupted by the outraged Chairman who demands that they finish off Chiba; as the two share Osanai's body, they battle for control as they argue over Chiba's fate. Konakawa enters the dream from his own recurring dream, and flees with Chiba back into his. Osanai gives chase through Konakawa's reoccuring dream, causing Konakawa to realize that his recurring nightmare and anxiety result from his guilt that he never finished the film he was making with a friend. He decides to "finish the film" and take control of the dream by shooting Osanai. The act actually kills Osanai's physical body with a real bullet wound.

Dreams and reality have now merged. The dream parade is running amok in the city, and reality itself is starting to unravel. Shima is nearly killed by a giant Japanese doll, but is saved by Paprika, who has become an entity separate from Chiba thanks to dreams and reality merging. Amidst the chaos, Tokita, in the form of a giant robot, eats Chiba and prepares to do the same for Paprika. The Chairman also returns in the form of a living nightmare, reveals his twisted dreams of omnipotence, and threatens to darken the world with his delusions.

A ghostly apparition of Chiba appears and reveals that she has in fact been in love with Tokita this whole time and has simply been repressing these emotions. She comes to terms with her own repressed desires, reconciles herself with that part of her that is Paprika. Paprika returns to Tokita, throwing herself into his body. A ghostly apparition of a baby emerges from the robotic shell, like a womb. Sucking in the wind, the child grows until she sucks up the Chairman himself, becoming a full grown beautiful combination of both Chiba and Paprika. In this new form, she is able to consume the Chairman's dream form and end the nightmare he created.

In the final scene, Chiba sits at Tokita's bedside. Konakawa and Shima leave the two as Chiba puts her hand in Tokita's. As Konakawa and Shima walk down the street, Shima asks if Konakawa ever figured out the meaning to all this. Konakawa, turning to his reflection and seeing the figure of his film friend, realizes that he in fact became the character from their original film, the cop. Konakawa visits Paprika's website and receives a message from Paprika: "Atsuko will change her surname to Tokita... and I suggest watching the movie Dreaming Kids." The film ends as Konakawa purchases a ticket for the movie.

Plot

Dragged from his homeworld of Amestris to a parallel world called Earth, Edward Elric lives in Munich, Germany, in the year 1923. Stripped of his alchemical powers and some of his limbs, but not the attachments for his automail, he researches rocketry with Alfons Heiderich (アルフォンス・ハイデリヒ Arufonsu Haiderihi?) (voiced by Shun Oguri in Japanese, and Jason Liebrecht in English), a young man who resembles his brother. Alphonse Elric lost all of his memories of the events following his and his brother's attempt to resurrect their mother. He was studying alchemy under their teacher Izumi Curtis, but after her death he began seeking a way to reunite with his brother and retrieve his lost memories.

Edward encounters many people whose faces are familiar to him. He rescues a woman named Noa (ノーア Nōa?) (voiced by Miyuu Sawai in Japanese, and by Leah Clark in English), a troubled gypsy woman, who starts having visions concerning his life in Amestris. Dietlinde Eckhart (デートリンデ・エッカルト Dētorinde Ekkaruto?) (voiced by Kazuko Katou in Japanese, and by Kelly Manison in English), a member from the Thule Society, discovers the existence of Ed's world with help from Noa and starts giving him hints to how he could open a portal back to Amestris. Once Ed starts opening the portal, Dietline kidnaps Ed's father, Hohenheim, to open the last parts of the portal using the homunculus Envy as a catalyst.

At the same time Alphonse is guided by the homunculus Wrath to the underground city beneath Central City to open a portal to Earth. They are attacked by the homunculus Gluttony, who brutally fights and captures Wrath between his jaws. But Wrath asks Al to transmute the two of them so he can open the gate, Al complies. Envy and Hohenheim are both transmuted moments later, allowing the Thule Society's army and Dietlinde to travel through to Central which they attack. Ed follows in a rocket-powered plane and is reunited with Al, Winry Rockbell, and Roy Mustang. Ed, Al and Mustang fight Dietlinde while the military defeats the army. Ed returns the surviving men to Germany and to seal the gate, but to his shock, he finds Al hidden in a suit of armor. Al explains that Mustang is sealing the gate in Central, and he has also regained his memories after losing them at the end of the series.

0 (Anime Series) Bokura ga Ita (Complete)

Bokura ga Ita (僕等がいた ?, lit. We Were There) is a Japanese romance manga by Yuuki Obata, centering around the high school life of freshman girl, Nanami Takahashi. It was serialized in Betsucomi, with the first tankōbon volume released on October 26, 2002. It was adapted as a television anime which began airing on July 3, 2006.

In 2005, the manga won the Shogakukan Manga Award for shōjo.[1]

Plot

Nanami Takahashi, a 15 year old high school student, falls in love with and begins dating the most popular guy in school, Motoharu Yano. However, their relationship is not easily maintainable. Yano's past, as well as the complex emotions they bring up, make it difficult to be completely honest about how he feels. To add more troubles to their relationship, caught in the middle are Yuri Yamamoto, the younger sister of Yano's now dead ex-girlfriend, and Masafumi Takeuchi, Yano's best friend. Yuri's past with Yano goes deeper than one might suspect and her feelings run deeper than she portrays in public. Takeuchi cherishes Yano's friendship, but at the same time, he may lose it for someone dear to him, Nana. The story revolves around how Takahashi must search deep inside herself and find her true feelings for Yano whilst being able to trust and accept Yano's feelings for her as well, deciding if Yano is indeed the one for her or if someone else can provide better solace. There will possibly be a sequel that will most likely follow the plot of the manga.[citation needed]

0 (Anime Series) Star Wars - The Clone War S1 (Complete)

The Clone Wars are a series of fictional intragalactic battles in George Lucas's science fiction saga Star Wars. The conflict is first mentioned in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977),[1] but no details are given, and the wars themselves are not featured until the second and third episodes of the six-part Star Wars film series: Attack of the Clones (2002) and Revenge of the Sith (2005). The animated microseries Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003-2005) and feature-length film Star Wars: The Clone Wars, released August 15th (2008) chronicle some of the war's major campaigns. Additional events and stories are detailed in a multimedia campaign consisting of Star Wars literature and video games. Many of the events featured have parallels in history, politics, and mythology from which Lucas and other writers drew inspiration.

The Clone Wars begin during the Separatist Crisis when thousands of star systems seceded from the Galactic Republic to form the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS). The first battle occurs on the CIS planet Geonosis where the Republic's new clone army, led by Jedi generals, combats the Separatists' battle droids. War quickly spreads across the galaxy and eventually reaches the Republic's capital, Coruscant. The Clone Wars end shortly after the Great Jedi Purge, the Separatist Massacre on Mustafar, and the establishment of the Galactic Empire. The events causing the war and those leading to its conclusion are orchestrated by the Republic's chief executive, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.[2]

1 (Anime Series) Samurai Champloo [eng] (Complete)

Samurai Champloo (サムライチャンプルー Samurai Chanpurū?) is a Japanese animated television series consisting of twenty-six episodes. It was broadcast in Japan from May 20, 2004, through March 19, 2005, on the television network, Fuji TV. Samurai Champloo was created and directed by Shinichirō Watanabe, whose previous television show, Cowboy Bebop, earned him renown in the anime and Japanese television communities.[1] The show was produced by studio Manglobe.

The series is a cross-genre work of media, blending the action and samurai genres with elements of slapstick comedy. It is also a period piece, taking place during Japan's Edo period. The series is interwoven with revisionist historical facts and anachronistic elements of mise-en-scene, dialogue and soundtrack. The series' most frequent anachronism is its use of elements of hip hop culture, particularly rap and the music it has influenced, break dancing, turntablism, hip hop slang, and graffiti. The show also contains anachronistic elements from the punk subculture and modernism, but less prominently.

Plot

A young woman named Fuu is working as a waitress in a tea house when she is harassed by a band of ruffians. Another customer, Mugen, offers to take care of them in exchange for food, but ends up instigating a brawl. Jin, a stoic young ronin in samurai garb, enters the tea house in the midst of the fight. Mugen accidentally swings at him and they begin fighting one another, ignoring a fire that started during the brawl. They both faint from smoke inhalation. When they awaken, they find they have been arrested for the arsonous murder of Shibui Tomonoshina, the magistrate's son, and are to be executed. With help from Fuu, they escape and Fuu asks them to travel with her to find "the samurai who smells of sunflowers," a mysterious man Fuu can give little description of, but whom she insists she must find. They agree to join her, with Fuu making only one condition: they are not to duel one another until the journey is done.

They travel southward through Honshū along the Pacific Coast isle, eventually arriving by ferry in Edo. There they meet the gay Dutchman Isaac Kitching. Fuu shows him an item that belonged the sunflower samurai—a tiny skull ornament on a string—and he points them towards Nagasaki. Along the way they have various encounters that force them to reveal more about their pasts and face difficult memories.

The group reaches Nagasaki and find the Sunflower Samurai, Kasumi Seizou, unaware that the Shogun has ordered Kariya Kagetoki, a master swordsman, to follow them on their travels so he could find and execute Seizou. It is revealed that Fuu believes he is her long lost father, and that she wants to "slug him one" for abandoning his family. When they reach Nagasaki, Fuu quickly abandons her companions to search alone, traveling to a village where she is attacked and captured by three brothers wanting revenge against Mugen: Umanosuke, Toube, and Denkibou. Mugen and Jin face Kariya himself, but even fighting together, find themselves outmatched. During the fight they learn of Fuu's capture and Jin sends Mugen to rescue her. Reluctantly, Mugen goes, ordering Jin not to die. As he goes to the island village, he fights and kills Denkibou. When he arrives, Mugen gives up his sword in exchange for Fuu's release, promising he won't die. Jin loses his battle with Kariya and is tossed in the river. Umanosuke cuts open Mugen's abdomen with a sickle and tortures him mercilessly while taunting him.

Fuu finds Seizou going blind and appearing to be dying. Though unable to forgive him, she decides not to hit him because of his illness. While she talks with his retainer, Kariya arrives and kills Seizou as Fuu watches helplessly. He then turns and strikes the retainer, as he was ordered to kill all family and household members. Fuu flees for her life, arriving at a cape overlooking the water where she can see the badly wounded Mugen below. Jin arrives and challenges Kagetoki again, managing to kill him by allowing himself to be wounded as well. On the beach below, Mugen is caught in an explosion. As he comes to, he find Fuu crying over him and Jin nearby struggling to stand. He forces himself to his feet so they can have their duel now that Fuu has found her father. On their first move, their swords break and they pass out.

Fuu learns from her father's retainer that Seizou left to protect her family from the Shogunate, who hated his Christian beliefs. Mugen and Jin recover from their wounds after sleeping for a week, and agree that their duel is done.

At the end of the series, the trio finds themselves standing at a three-way crossroad where they say goodbye. Before they part ways, Fuu admits she tricked them into joining her by faking the coin toss that decided if they would or not. Neither of the men minds, and as Fuu leaves, she tells them she hopes they will meet again.

Overview

Negi Springfield is a ten-year-old wizard from Wales, who dreams of becoming a Magister Magi (Approximate Latin translation: "Master Mage"), a special wizard who uses his powers to help normal people, using covers such as working for NGOs.

Negi's reason for becoming a Magister Magi is to find his father, Nagi Springfield, the legendary mage also known as the "Thousand Master", who is believed to be dead.

After graduating from the Merdiana Magic Academy in Wales, Negi is given a duty as a cover in the real world, and training, before he actually becomes a Magister Magi. That duty is to become an English teacher at Mahora Academy in Japan. The task will not be easy, however, as Negi will become a teacher to a Middle School class of 31 older girls, each very special in her own way. The series details his time and adventures in Japan as he gains acceptance and respect from his students, helps them in their problems, and faces magical threats from inside and outside Mahora Academy. His main relationship is with Asuna Kagurazaka, his student and roommate, who dislikes him initially but later accepts him as a friend and becomes his partner, helping find clues about his father and his life.

The series, while initially appearing to be another bishōjo work like Love Hina, has progressed into a mix of bishōjo, shōnen action, fantasy, horror, romance and comedy. Akamatsu stated that he specifically wanted to do something "different" than Love Hina. Negi himself is prepubescent, and many of his scenes with Asuna are specific subversions of the "awkward romantic scene" tendency of bishōjo manga, quickly diffused and only played for laughs. In addition, many of the girls are able to fawn over him in a childish sense without any romantic expectations from the reader.

In keeping with this style, Negi himself is seen as a contrast to Love Hina's Keitaro and other typical male leads of bishōjo manga. He is hardworking, capable, and treated kindly, but due to his appearance and age (well below most of his students), he feels completely non-threatening and finds it difficult to be taken seriously as a teacher; many of his students treat him as a cute little kid, if not a playmate (or plaything).

0 (Anime Series) Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG (Complete)

Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG (攻殻機動隊 S.A.C. 2nd GIG Kōkaku Kidōtai: Sutando Arōn Konpurekkusu Sekando Gigu?) is the second season of the anime series Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, based on Masamune Shirow's Ghost in the Shell manga series. It premiered on 1 January 2004 in Japan on the anime communications satellite television network, Animax, on a pay-per-view basis.[1] The series was later aired on the terrestrial Nippon TV from 12 April 2005. Animax also later aired the series across its other networks worldwide, including its English language networks in Southeast Asia and South Asia, and its other networks in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Latin America and several other regions. It was also later aired in the United States on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block. Bandai Visual owns the DVD distribution rights in Japan while Manga Entertainment owns the distribution rights in North America and Europe. The show began airing daily on AnimeCentral beginning November 4, 2007 in both English (two nightly screenings) and original Japanese (one late-night screening). As with other AnimeCentral series (e.g., Wolf's Rain and .hack//SIGN) the first run of episodes was immediately followed by a re-run.

The series has an associated short series of comedic shorts involving the Tachikoma called Tachikomatic Days, which was also part of its first season.

History

Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG uncovers a significant amount of back-story that was only vaguely talked about during the first season, including information about the last world wars. Between the turn of the century and 2032, there were two major conflicts that changed world politics. The first being nuclear World War III, and the other being non-nuclear World War IV, also known as the Second Vietnam War. The increase in independent states and sovereign regions grew from the chaos of the last 30 years. The planet remains divided and several locations exist on the planet where sovereignty is in question, where no one is really sure who owns or governs what.

This fictional history matches one presented in Appleseed Databook, suggesting that both Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell may be occurring in the same fictional universe, albeit at different points of its timeline.

While originally intended to "underscore the dilemmas and concerns that people would face if they relied too heavily on the new communications infrastructure,"[2] Stand Alone Complex eventually came to represent a phenomenon where unrelated, yet very similar actions of individuals create a seemingly concerted effort.

In the first series, it usually refers to events surrounding the Laughing Man case, and to some extent, the teamwork observed in Public Security Section 9. It is presented as an emergent phenomenon catalyzed by parallelization of the human psyche through the cyberbrain networks.

For the second series, when Kenji Kamiyama discussed the theme with Mamoru Oshii, they decided that they could not avoid the issue of War: "In other words, we simply couldn't ignore the way society had evolved since the events of 9-11 : That was the approach we decided to take, and I tried to illustrate a 21st century (near-future) war. But to tell you the truth, I couldn't avoid feeding back into modern reality".[3]

0 (Anime Series) Scrapped Princess (Complete)

Scrapped Princess (??????·????? ,Sukurappudo Purinsesu?) is a Japanese light novel series by Ichiro Sakaki and illustrated by Nakayohi Mogudan, a popular adult dojin artist. In 2003, it was adapted into an anime series produced by Bones. The character designs in the anime are by Takahiro Komori, who is also known for the designs on another anime series, Cowboy Bebop.

Scrapped Princess is notable for high quality animation, its music, which is composed by Masumi Ito, and its themes. It begins as high fantasy and then quickly mixes into varying degrees of post-apocalyptic and science fiction elements through the application of Clarke's third law. The atmosphere has undertones of sadness, though many of the characters and situations are superficially light-hearted.

The anime is distributed in the United States by Bandai Entertainment. There is also a manga adaptation which has also been published in the US by Tokyopop. The manga is only three volumes, and has no plot overlap with the anime; the only things in common are the three main characters, the idea of the Scrapped Princess, and the Mauser Faith they are running from. Three of the original light novels have been translated into English by Tokyopop.
Story

The story takes place in a fantasy world and revolves around a 15-year-old girl, Pacifica Casull, who is a girl child born in a set of twins into the royal family of the kingdom Leinwan and then abandoned. The 5111th Grendel Prophecy predicts that she is the "poison that will destroy the world" before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday. As a consequence, she is dropped off a cliff as an infant. Believed to be dead, no one realizes her continued existence until after Pacifica is already 15 years old.

Pacifica is rescued by a court wizard and adopted by the commoner Casull family. Her foster siblings- Shannon, a swordsman, and Raquel, a wizard, become her protectors. Both siblings are extremely powerful, and more often than not they easily break out of whatever difficult situation they face.

Her siblings travel with her throughout most of the story, protecting her from the numerous attempts on her life by people who fear the outcome of the prophecy, should she survive. Both siblings' skills see constant use. By contrast, Pacifica is a mostly typical fifteen-year-old, and her inability to defend herself is a recurring source of self-doubt for her. As the series progresses, the truth about the prophecy slowly comes to light, and even as the more of the truth is revealed, more questions arise. Pacifica must discover her hidden destiny, even as powerful beings that are not human who are supposedly the gods of this world - continuously fight against each other, over her fate, seeking to either protect or destroy her. It turns out that Pacifica is not in fact "a poison who will destroy the world" but in fact mankind's last hope, and all part of a plan. A plan that was set in motion a long time ago by highly intelligent and advanced beings called Peacemakers.

Before the Genesis Wars, Peacemakers were made to seal in humans to protect them from destroying themselves and the world around them. The Peacemakers were able to do this with the help of Seria Mauser, whom they encouraged to leak information to them in exchange for her two siblings' protection. It turns out that she was too late, as her siblings died, and Mauser branded a traitor. Mauser was kept in an area of phase space in a sort of virtual reality for 5000 years while mankind continued to live on unknowingly in a cage.

The Peacemakers watched over mankind, occasionally wiping out much of the population to keep the level of civilization down so mankind would not find out that they were trapped. As the Peacemakers put it, "You don't know you are trapped if all you've ever known is your cage." Humans are unwillingly controlled by Peacemakers, just by looking a Peacemaker in the eye, humans must obey them. However, this ability is ineffective only on Pacifica which makes her the Peacemakers' prime target. Pacifica's negation abilities are also referred to by a disease, in that it spreads to the people around her. This is extremely useful in cases where the Peacemakers have taken control over a crowd of people. Furthermore Pacifica cannot be directly attacked by any Peacemaker, thus she is usually attacked indirectly by a controlled human or group of humans. Although Pacifica's ability is only used when she is experiencing intense anger or fear, her true ability is supposedly supposed to awaken on her sixteenth birthday, though it is never shown in the anime.
