0 (Anime Series) Gakuen Alice (Complete)

Gakuen Alice (学園アリス Gakuen Arisu?), also known as Alice Academy, is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Tachibana Higuchi, currently being serialized in the shōjo manga magazine Hana to Yume.[1] It was adapted into an anime series, which was produced by Aniplex and Group TAC and originally premiered on NHK BS-2. It spanned twenty-six episodes, between October 30, 2004, and May 14, 2005. The anime was translated and dubbed into English by the anime television network Animax, and the dubbed version has been broadcast on networks throughout Asia.[2] At Anime Expo 2008, The Right Stuf International announced that its Nozomi Entertainment division had licensed Gakuen Alice for the North American market.

Story

Best friends Mikan and Hotaru grew up in a small town in the remote countryside. When Hotaru moves to a school for geniuses in Tokyo, Mikan misses Hotaru so badly that she decides to travel to Tokyo herself to find Hotaru. She finds Hotaru in a school called "Alice Academy," and finds that the school is actually for people with special powers called "Alices." Narumi-sensei, a teacher at the school, discovers that Mikan also happens to have an Alice, and Mikan is admitted into the academy. There she finds friends, love, and a life that she will never forget.

0 (Movie) Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz

Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, known in Japan as New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz (新機動戦記ガンダムW: ENDLESS WALTZ Shin Kidō Senki Gandamu Uingu: Endoresu Warutsu?), is the sequel to Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, both of which are set in the After Colony timeline, an alternate universe to that of the original Gundam series . Endless Waltz is both sequel and prequel to the Gundam Wing series. It is a sequel as it is a continuation of Gundam Wing, but is also a prequel as it reveals details regarding the past of the Gundam pilots and the true objective behind Operation Meteor.

Endless Waltz was first produced as a three part OVA and later in 1998 a compilation movie was released which also contained new scenes. It was broadcast in the US on Cartoon Network on November 10, 2000.

Synopsis

It is the year After Colony 196 and the battles between Earth and the colonies have ended. Treize Khushrenada is dead and OZ has come to an end. This gives birth to the Earth Sphere Unified Nation and the Preventers. Seeing they won't be needed anymore, the Gundam pilots (except Wufei) send their suits into the sun. However, this peace would not last, for a rebellion occurs on the newly completed colony, L3 X-18999. Led by seven year old Mariemaia Khushrenada, Treize's daughter, the rebellion kidnaps Relena, now the Vice Foreign Minister of the Earth Sphere Unified Nation (ESUN), during a diplomatic mission to X-18999. As the Gundam pilots investigate further, they discover that Mariemaia is merely a puppet controlled by her grandfather Dekim Barton, a former advisor to martyred colony leader Heero Yuy, who is using X-18999 to go through with the original Operation: Meteor, as a contingency plan in case the ESUN doesn't comply. The original Operation: Meteor involved crashing a space colony into Earth, causing many civilians to die, and allowing the Gundams to take control. The Gundam pilots must prevent Dekim from seizing power over the ESUN. The Gundams are retrieved from their course to sun to Earth's orbit thanks to Quatre and the Maganacs. While Heero uses Wing Zero to battle Wufei, Duo, Trowa and Quatre fight against Dekim's forces. In the end, Dekim is killed by one of his own soldiers, Earth and its colonies are at peace once again and all mobile suits, including the Gundams, are forever destroyed.

0 (Anime Series,) Tsubasa Chronicle S1 & S2 (Complete)

Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle (ツバサ-RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE- Tsubasa -Rezaboa Kuronikuru-?), is an ongoing manga series by Clamp. It is currently being serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine. It takes place in the same fictional universe as many of Clamp's other manga series including xxxHolic, Cardcaptor Sakura, Legal Drug, X, Chobits and Tokyo Babylon.

It was adapted into an anime series, Tsubasa Chronicle (ツバサ·クロニクル Tsubasa Kuronikuru?), animated by Bee Train, which aired 52 episodes over two seasons during 2005 and 2006.[1] Three OVAs (animated by Production I.G) were also released in two month successions from November 2007 through March 2008.

As of September 1, 2008, the English dub of the first season is being broadcast on the Funimation Channel in the United States.[2] The English dub is also being broadcast by Animax across Asia under the title Chronicle of The Wings.

Plot

Before the beginning of the storyline, Syaoran, the son of "Syaoran" and "Sakura", is sent into the shop of the Dimensional Witch, Yūko, by his parents because of a vision his mother had seen. Yūko sends him to Clow Country (The Country of the Eternal Tower) for seven days, where he arrives seven days before the birthday of that dimension's Sakura who looks like a younger version of his mother. Over the seven days, the two begin to fall in love with each other. On Syaoran's final day in Clow Country, the day of Sakura's birthday, Fei Wong Reed appears and, in spite of Syaoran's efforts to stop him, places a seal of death on Sakura that will eventually kill her. Syaoran tells Yūko that he chooses to remain in Clow Country at the price of never seeing his family and friends back in Japan again. He spends years searching for a way to remove the seal, but his searches are to no avail. When the seal is about to consume Sakura, Syaoran asks Yūko to turn time back to the day Fei Wong Reed placed the seal of death on Sakura in exchange for being Fei Wong Reed's prisoner until Syoaran reaches his current age.

The series starts several years after Syaoran wound back time, and it follows the clone of Sakura and of Syaoran, both creations of Fei Wong Reed. This Syaoran is a young archaeologist investigating a nearby ruin. Sakura has a vision of a mysterious symbol Syaoran found in the ruins. When she visits Syaoran in the ruins the next day, she stands on the symbol opening a secret room and disappears into it. Syaoran chases after and finds her with a pair of ghostly wings being pulled into the wall. He rescues her, but then her wings disintegrate into feathers that scatter across dimensions. The High Priest of Clow Kingdom, Yukito, immediately realizes that Sakura's "feathers" were the manifestation of her soul; without them, she will die.

Yukito sends the two to the Dimensional Witch, Yūko. There he meets Kurogane, a rough-mannered ninja who wishes to return to his home after being banished from his world by Princess Tomoyo in order to learn what true strength is, and Fay D. Flourite, a magician who fled his world and wishes never to return to avoid being forced to kill the King Ashura of his home world. In order to gain the power to cross dimensions, each must pay with what he or she values most. Kurogane pays with his family's heirloom, the sword Ginryū. Fay pays with the tattoo on his back that suppresses his magical power. Syaoran and Sakura pay with their relationship; even if Syaoran is able to retrieve all of Sakura's memories, she will never remember him. When the three agree to her terms, Yūko present them with the one of two creatures named Mokona Modoki who holds the power to cross dimensions. The group of five then set out on their journey across dimensions in search of Sakura's feathers.

0 (Anime Series,) Speed Grapher (Complete)

Speed Grapher (スピードグラファー Supīdo Gurafā?) is a 2005 anime series created by Gonzo. The series ran for 24 episodes from April to October 2005 on TV Asahi. The series was licensed for release in North America by Funimation Entertainment in 2006 and aired on the Independent Film Channel between March 7 and August 15, 2008.[1] The series tells the story of former war photographer, Tatsumi Saiga and his quest to save Kagura Tennōzu from Chōji Suitengu and the members of the fetish club, the Roppongi Club.

The series was also adapted into a manga by Tomozo. Originally serialized by MediaWorks in Monthly Dengeki Comic GAO!, it was also released to three tankōbon between September 2005 and September 2006. The manga series was then licensed to Tokyopop, who released two volumes to North America between September and December 2008. A light novel was also published and was written by Minoru Niki. It was published by Hayakawa Publishing and released on July 21, 2005. In North America, like the manga, it was licensed to Tokyopop and was published on November 11, 2008.

Plot

Speed Grapher follows the exploits of former war photographer Tatsumi Saiga, who investigates a secret fetish club for the ultra-wealthy called the Roppongi Club. He tries to photograph the club's "goddess," a 15-year-old, exploited girl named Kagura, but is discovered. As he is about to be killed, Kagura kisses him, granting him the ability to destroy anything he photographs. Saiga soon discovers that Kagura's body fluids, like her saliva, can give people bizarre abilities relating to their secret desires, fetishes, and obsessions. Club members strive for the honor of becoming "gifted" via Kagura's power. Saiga soon becomes entangled in this secret underground society and the powerful and corrupt Tennōzu Group mega-corporation that operates it. He attempts to free Kagura, a move that puts the two of them on the run from the Tennōzu Group and blood-thirsty members of the club with bizarre and often horrifying special powers.

Kagura's body fluids contain a chemical that activates a dormant Euphoria virus responsible for the transformation of humans into Euphorics, such as Saiga. This virus has the rare ability to attach itself to the victim's DNA and alter their body on a genetic level, granting supernatural powers. Apparently, to become a Euphoric, the virus must be carried before absorbing Kagura's fluid. If one doesn't carry the virus before receiving Kagura's fluid, the ritual will result in death.

Speed Grapher can also be considered a blunt, inconspicuous critique of the capitalism and materialism of modern Japanese society. Kagura is the daughter of the wealthiest woman in the world, but she is kept prisoner and nearly starved. Her mother, Shinsen Tennōzo, bribes any person who tries to help Kagura. The main villain, as a display of his own vast wealth and power, smokes cigarettes rolled with 10,000 yen bills. In a stark juxtaposition, the male protagonist of the series is a photographer whose lifestyle and beliefs contrast greatly with those of the antagonists. His self-sacrifice and personal aversion of greed is what ultimately saves him and those around him.
